This free spooky Halloween categories game is an interactive game for family and friends that can be played by adults and children alike.
The design is bright, featuring colors of lime green, orange, and black, and offers a fun Halloween theme with a jack-o-lantern pattern.

This spooky categories game is designed to be played in three rounds, as indicated by the column headings. There are 12 categories, each of which corresponds with a row on the game sheet.
How to play a Halloween categories game
To play this Halloween categories game, players must write down a word or phrase that corresponds with each category. For instance for number 1, Halloween activities, players might write answers such as trick or treating, carving jack-o-lanterns, hanging spider webs, or being forced to endure corny games with their families.
Some categories leave a lot of room for creativity and interpretation (e.g. a scary sound to player 1 might be a dentist drill, but player 2 might insist on the throaty voice of a nosy uncle come to visit). Others are a little bit more specific and limited.
The player with the most filled in blanks typically wins, but you can get creative with the points system. Perhaps you wish to reward the most creative thinkers or the player with the most gory responses.
If you don’t want to play all 3 rounds, that’s also okay. Or you could extend the game over multiple sessions, playing one round each time.
