I bring you this set of four free patterned bookmarks after months of not much in the creativity department. I no longer have a desk, nor an appropriate place to work, but fortunately the cabin where I just vacationed did. And the surrounding nature inspired me to crank out a few patterns.
I enjoy the challenges of pattern-making so it felt like a nice reset. Fingers crossed it won’t be too many more billions of years before I do more.
The designs were inspired by thinking of ways a circle can be dissected, and how its shapes could be manipulated into repeating patterns. The color scheme is as if a fire engine parked in a stylish 1950s lounge, ranging from vibrant red to more muted mid century colors like canton and citrine.
You can use these free printable bookmarks for saving pages in a few different books or, if you’re like me, use loads of bookmarks in one big research volume (so in the end it feels like there are more bookmarks than pages in the book).
To download and use this set of free patterned bookmarks (pdf file), click the link below. Then open the pdf, print the page, and cut the bookmarks out for use. A higher quality card stock is preferable as your paper choice.
